My New House

I haven't been able to blog in a long while becuase now that I'm settled into my new house, we haven't been able to set up the cable and interent yet. I think it will be hooked up by next week. Here are a couple pictures of my new place!

This might be my favorite room in my house! My Bathroom!!! I LOVE the colors and I guess just like the fact that it's all mine! I keep it so neat and organized which is a first for me!

Yeah!!! I actually have a REAL sized closet now. For those of you who have seen my closet at my old house, you know that it was basically non existent. This is the cloest in my actual room that holds my shirts, dresses, shoes and purese. I have another closet in our office for pants and skirts.

This is or kitchen. We have a TON of cabinets and storage space. I love having a dishwasher since Joseph hasn't had one at his house.

I really love our fireplace too. We still lack some color and decorations the living room but it's getting there.

I'm Moving!

The official countdown to days till I move is 9 days. Part of this past weekend was spent packing and sorting through 20 years of crap collecting. It's amazing how much useless JUNK you can accumulate while living in the same house for that long. I've boxed up most of my things. My photo albums and picture frames took up almost 5 boxes. Once I packed up my stuff I really had no where for the boxes to go. Here is 2 boxes full of just photo albums with clean laundry piled up on top.

Here is my entertainment center finally all cleared off becuase it was previously covered with pictures in frames. Now they lay in the boxes on top. What a huge mess.

Luckily we have a spare bedroom connected to my room so I don't have to carry the boxes far once I get them packed up. These boxes stacked here are pretty much just clothes and shoes; although I still complain that I never have anything to wear. Good thing I had Meghan (my soon to be room mate) helping me pack and kindly suggesting that I should get rid of some things here and there because I would probably never wear it. I am a HUGE pack rat and everything holds sentimental value to me. I did throw several things away including my Jonathan Taylor Thomas fan mail, no lie I had a whole folder of pictures and memorabilia. I know, I'm a total nerd. I feel like I am done packing for now becuase my room can hold no more boxes. I'm just going to have to put it on hold until I can actually start moving some boxes over to the new house! I'm so excited!
